MOSD is a preschool that offers programs to hearing-impaired and profoundly deaf children and their families. The mission is to empower deaf children to listen, learn, and talk. Children graduate by the time they are six years old and are ready to meet the educational demands they will face in their typical schools. By emphasizing the development of listening and spoken language, students are able to mainstream with their hearing peers without relying on sign language for communication.
